Enova has completed the installation of both a solar power and borehole water system for Longfellow Student Res in the Vaal Triangle which houses 336 students. An automated reading and billing system is also installed and operational meaning huge convenience for the property manager. We now manage and maintain the system to ensure maximum efficiency.
The infrastructure and system include:
- 70kWh Solar PV
- 100kVA generator backup with demand management
- Automated meter reading and billing system
- 20 000 litre water storage and a water pump system that can handle 500 kilolitres per day.
